Our Travel Emergency veterinarians are awarded all the benefits of full-time staff members!
HOURS OF WORK/LOCATION:
Full-time position: To meet the minimum requirements to qualify for full-time benefits our travel ER veterinarians are obligated to work an average minimum of 9 shifts per 4-week block.

Part-time position: There are no minimum shift requirements for PT. There are no additional benefits other than compensation as listed below as well as coverage for travel. For those with agreed-upon shift requirements that are less than what qualifies for full-time benefits, limited benefits options are available and are defined on a case-by-case basis.
SCHEDULING:
The scheduling of shifts shall be managed through our online scheduling platform, Jobs Unleashed, and travel ER Veterinarians will have the first pick of those shifts. Candidates shall have direct control of scheduling shifts following guidelines set by the Vice President of Emergency Medicine (or other authorized agent) regarding focus hospitals, regions, and/or shift types. Any shifts that exceed the agreed-upon minimum are optional and follow the compensation model listed below.

Any/all production generated while on shift focused on mentorship, by both doctors, will be allocated to the mentor doctor.
You take great care of Animals. We take great care of YOU!
COMPENSATION:
Our compensation structure for this role consists of shift pay and quarterly production payments.
12hr shift @ $1200/shift + earned quarterly production payment

14hr shift @ $1400/shift + earned quarterly production payment
15hr shift @ $1500/shift + earned quarterly production payment
Quarterly Production Payment:
27%- Services – 15% Products – 5% Over the Counter
Quarterly production payments shall be calculated per hospital each quarter. This is to prevent any production payment earned from a busy location/shift being offset (decreased) by shifts performed at a less busy location.
Bonuses are calculated by 27% of qualifying services/diagnostics revenue, 15% of products, and 5% of OTC generated by the associate against shift pay already paid out. The difference (if greater) is paid to the associate as lump sum bonuses from each hospital where a bonus is earned.
