We are the BEST!  Privately-owned S.A. Richmond Practice to $160K

Locke A. Taylor DVM Practice has an incredible reputation in the Richmond area, voted The Best Veterinary Hospital in Richmond by the Richmond Times Dispatch for the past 7 years.      We would like to add a strong new graduate or experienced veterinarian to our 5-veterinarian team at Woodman Road.  Three generations of clients have come here because they trust us.  They know we want the best for their animals, and we are not trying to sell them anything.   Our medical director, Dr. Ames has worked here for almost 20 years, initially volunteering as a thirteen-year-old.  He has NEVER wanted to work anywhere else.  He shared, “We treat our staff with appreciation and respect.  We’re here to help people and their pets!”

Richmond has an affordable cost of living and a strong job market. It is rich in culture, history, and outdoor activities and festivals. There are numerous riverside parks, hiking trails, and water sports along with a vibrant restaurant scene and numerous microbreweries.  Richmond is inclusive, evolving, and a very fun place to live.  Here are 12 things to know about Richmond: https://www.extraspace.com/blog/moving/city-guides/things-to-know-about-living-in-richmond/#:~:text=Thinking%20about%20moving%20to%20Richmond,know%20about%20living%20in%20Richmond We are 92 miles south of Washington, DC and 66 miles east of Charlottesville.

About Travis & Associates, Veterinarian Recruiters
Over the past 22 years, our firm Travis Veterinarian Recruiters has placed veterinarians and hospital managers with the top 20% of veterinary practices across the country and in Canada. Our firm only works with privately owned hospitals. In addition, as a certified career/life coach, I bring additional expertise to you to support your job search. Recently, one of my veterinarian candidates said, "as an independent recruiter, you are like an impartial third party. I feel I can get the real story about the practices from you!" For you the practice owner, our firm is able to increase employee retention due to a unique program based on both my expertise in coaching and recruiting. It's called the Veterinary Retention Program. It helps you, the owner, maintain your high level of clinical excellence and customer service, gives you that competitive advantage in the market place and most importantly, retains staff. We find exceptional veterinarian candidates who are self-motivated, flexible, competent, and passionate about veterinary medicine.
