Small Animal Veterinary Job Description

We are looking for a full-time small animal veterinarian to join our team in Spring, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for providing medical care to dogs and cats. You will also be responsible for performing routine procedures, such as vaccinations, dental procedures, soft tissue surgery, spaying, and neutering.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas
• 1-3 years of experience in small animal medicine
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to dogs and cats
• Perform routine procedures, such as vaccinations, dental procedures, soft tissue surgery, spaying, and neutering
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Maintain patient records
• Provide client education
• Work with other members of the veterinary team to provide the highest quality of care
