Vermont Veterinary Eye Care in Williston, Vermont, has an opening for a full-time veterinary technician.  We are a separate 2-doctor practice within state-of-the-art Peak Veterinary Referral Center in Williston, VT.  We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities.  As a vet tech with VVEC you would be responsible for client communication and education, taking histories, physical exams, animal restraint, venipuncture, running lab work, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, surgical assisting, post-surgical recovery of patient, surgical pack & prep, some digital radiography, etc.  We are a very busy practice so efficiency is a must!  Small and large animal patients seen with some wildlife/exotics.  (No large animal experience necessary.)  Wages are commensurate with experience.  Holidays, paid vacation, health insurance, and 401K for eligible employees.  This position involves a 40-hour work week and requires occasional overtime and rare emergency hours.  The position involves 2 weeks of Mon-Thurs. rotating with 2 weeks of M/T/H/F (3-day weekends off every 2 weeks).  Interested in joining our ophthalmology team in a positive and fun work atmosphere?
