Veterinarians needed for AAHA certified hospital. We are looking for an additional daytime General Practice veterinarian to work 4 - 5 days a week and every 4th weekend. We are a growing, long established and very busy small animal practice providing quality medicine to a large client base. Our services include wellness, sick, surgery, urgent care, and after hour urgent care services. No after hour on call duties, no after hour emergencies, minimal day time emergencies, flexible but consistent schedules, competitive salaries and excellent benefits.
Quality of life for veterinarians and staff is important to the welfare of our hospital and is promoted and encouraged. We don't just say the words, we mean it. Work/life balance is important for an individual's mental health.
We have a client friendly and medically experienced staff. We are fairly high tech with a full in-house lab, ultrasound, digital x-ray machines (dental and regular x-ray table), laser therapy, separate isolation ward, 2 surgery suites, large treatment area, 3 ICU units and critical care cages, with facility to house up to 34 hospitalized patients (we don't board pets unless it is a special need pet).
We foster a team first attitude to deliver quality veterinary care to all our patients and utilizing each other’s skills to serve the greater good.
As an Associate Veterinarian at our practice, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of appointment types and keep normal doctor hours. Furthermore, you will get to enjoy a variety of cases that will provide a challenging work environment but allow diversity in the application of your skills. Our facility provides medical care that includes radiology, dentistry, ultrasound, surgery, and diagnostics. As well, our hard working and skilled staff will make it possible to have a true work/life balance. With Licensed Veterinary Technicians, skilled Veterinary Assistants, & experienced Veterinarians at your side it will be a breeze to provide top notch medical, dental, & surgical care to your patients.
Our practice is a fun, multi-doctor practice that provides high quality veterinary care to our community by putting the needs of our patient first. Educating our clients, communicating with other local practices, and working with local agencies to create a good community of health for our Four-Legged friends & family. Our facility houses both a Day-time General practice & an after-hours Urgent Care Center (that closes at 11 pm). You will have the opportunity to work a variety of cases from everyday wellness care to minor emergency medicine. As well, you will have the comfort of knowing when you go home at the end of your day, your patient is in the good hands of our amazing team. Our two practices work together to provide managed care for hospitalized patients. Furthermore, we work with referral and emergency practices in the area for patients needing 24-hour care.
Come join our team and see what the Adamson Veterinary experience is all about! Join a practice where work-life balance is supported, work with people who love their job, and work for a boss that treats you right and pays you well. Please visit us on our website, check out our Facebook page, and our online reviews. To join our amazing and dedicated team, contact owner/operator Dr. V. Brooks at drbrooks@catapuss-vet.com for more information or to submit your resume.

Be willing to have a flexible but consistent schedule that fits not only your needs but ours as well.  Be willing to work every 4th weekend.  Be able to educate clients, provide quality medicine, and be willing to see everything from Wellness exams to Urgent Care on the day-time General Practice.  Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish quality patient care.  Ability to interpret labs and radiographs.  Be willing to perform dental procedures and surgeries one day a week.  If you want an absolute detailed list of all the job requirements, that can be given during interview.

About Adamson Veterinary Services General Practice and Urgent Care Center
We are a progressive, growing, multi-doctor practice that believes in using education, skills, and modern technology to provide quality medicine for our patients while tailoring it to the client's needs and income. As a busy practice (day-practice and after hour urgent and emergency care practice) we provide medical care that combines general practice, urgent and emergency care. We don’t just provide routine care, but more advance care as well. We are a new type of hybrid practice that provide routine services and sick/urgent care services that fall between a general practice and a specialty practice. In our hospital there are two different practices. There is the day time General Practice that is open 7 days a week that opens at 7:30 am and closes at 5pm weekdays and opens at 8:00 am and closed at 4pm on weekends. Then there is the an after hour Urgent and Emergeny Care service, with emphasis on Urgent, that opens when the General Practice closes and is open only 5 days a week (Friday - Tuesday) until midnight. Work schedules are as flexible as possible to cover both shifts and avoid burn out. Family time is encouraged and vacations are manditory. Salaries are based on shif...t hired for (day shift or night shift) and whether you want full time or part time. We try to be fair when it comes to the salaries and are willing to negotiate. The hospital is a large modern and fully equipped 9,000 sq ft medical facility that was designed to create a calm and fear free environment (a virtual tour is available on our website AdamsonVeterinaryServices.com). We are AAHA certified and have a full in-house lab, ultrasound, dental machines, digital x-ray machine electro-cautery unit, 2 large surgery suites, multiple full parameter monitors and anesthesia machines, isolation room, portable oxygen cage, Snyder ICU machine, 2 ICU isolettes, with facility to house up to 34 patients. We have a large waiting room split into two sections to divide dogs and cats. The day general practice is open 7 days a week and the urgent care is open 5 days a week with the plan on eventually being open 7 days a week if we are able to hire the doctors and staff to support it. We do not have boarding facilities, the owner does not believe in housing sick or surgery patients and well patients together.
