Ark Animal Clinic is a full-service small animal hospital, offering the gold standard in medical and surgical care. We believe healthy pets make happy people, and we strive to provide high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, endoscopy, and ultrasound. Most importantly, we have a phenomenal, experienced support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care.

Our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. All our patients undergoing anesthesia have per-op lab work and receive an IV catheter, IV fluids, and are carefully monitored and recovered by our skilled surgical technicians. 

Our practice is open Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays 8 am to 1 pm. We have flexible scheduling, an hour for lunch, and have generous time reserved for writing medical records and for client communication. We can be flexible with scheduling but would ideally like someone open to Saturday rotations. There are no on-call responsibilities. We are located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, close to Maryland and Virginia and surrounded by beautiful nature and an abundance of outdoor activities. Hedgesville and the surrounding areas are a wonderful place if you enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, historical sites, golf, skiing, or snowboarding. Professionally, there are a lot of professional veterinary communities and chapters in the area to connect with. 

Qualifications: 

• West Virginia Veterinarian – active and in good standing 
• All Experience levels considered 
• The ability to work a rotational weekend schedule is preferred
