Patterson Veterinary Hospital in Clinton Township, MI is looking to add another associate veterinarian to our team! We are a small animal practice that has served the surrounding community and multiple generations of clients since opening in 1953. Our team of five-doctors is backed by a phenomenal support staff which allows them to practice truly the best medicine. Our hospital is also equipped with state-of-the-art tools that allow our doctors to work through all kinds of cases. These include ultrasound, digital radiology, endoscope, in-house lab, and more.

Patterson Veterinary Hospital is also looking for a new or recent graduate to beta test our novel mentorship program. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.  This is not an internship or an externship. The mentorship is an innovative benefit offer. It involves a one-year commitment to a highly structured program where the employee will be working one on one with an instructing veterinarian. The mentorship program includes access to an exclusive google classroom, daily one-hour coaching sessions with the mentor, a structured curriculum, and a weekly debriefing lunch. This is a unique opportunity for a new graduate to make a smooth and low stress transition into the working world of veterinary medicine.

About the area: Clinton Township is located 10 miles north of Detroit. It has sprawling parks, a large shopping district, and as one of the largest communities in Michigan is host to many exciting events. It is part of Macomb County, known for its sandy beaches off of Lake St Clair, countless hike/bike trails, and tons of outdoor experiences.
