We are family of professionals passionate about exceptional veterinary care for our client’s family members, their dogs and cats. We are always looking for great talent. Our greatest needs include a Practice Manager and DVM/VMD doctor for one of our Sun Prairie practices, and CVTs for both Sun Prairie and Lomira locations.

We are serious about our pet care, offering the best. At the same time, we offer great working conditions and flexible hours, with work-life balance as a priority.  We have 3 family-owned small animal veterinary clinics, with a total of 9 veterinarians and a multitude of fabulously talented team members, many of whom have been with for years. Our doctors and team members are excellent mentors for DVMs and CVTs.  

Checkout Veterinary and Nature’s Preserve Pet Care located in vibrant and scenic Dane County, Wisconsin. Veterinary Village is located in Dodge County, Wisconsin, with oodles of outdoor activities in our backyard. We are only a few miles from the Horicon Marsh, the largest fresh-water cattail marsh in the US. The cost of living is remarkably affordable in both Dodge and Dane counties.

Sun Prairie offers all the benefits of a large city while maintaining the feel and character of a small town. Our local schools are also very highly regarded. We are located approximately 15 miles Northwest of Madison and enjoy easy access to nearby Dane County Regional Airport.

You will find us in the vibrant and thriving community of Sun Prairie, in the Greater Madison Area with easy access to sparkling lakes, stunning landscapes, an extensive network of parks, bike trails, and farmers markets for endless hours of outdoor fun. Sun Prairie has been recognized as one of the “Best Places to Live in America” for 2020 by Money Magazine. The food and beverage scene is diverse and top-notch.

The Greater Madison area is home to major colleges and universities including the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison College and Edgewood College. In a Forbes magazine city ranking from 2003, the Madison area had the highest number of Ph.D.s per capita, and third-highest college graduates per capita, among cities in the United States.

Our 3 well-established, family-owned practices offer a diverse caseload. We practice quality medicine in warm, friendly, well-equipped and inviting facilities. We have been serving our communities since 1982 and pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service. Our team has a strong partnership with clients built on clear, consistent communication and education.

We have Veterinary Village, a state-of-the art canine reproduction clinic and general practice in Lomira. Nature’s Preserve is our Monday thru Friday neighborhood all-around practice. Checkout Veterinary is our one-of-a kind drive-through wellness outpatient clinic, open 7 days a week. All utilize Fear Free practices, are clean and well-maintained and have top-notch imaging and lab equipment. We focus on a high standard of client education and medicine while working with the client to develop manageable patient care plan. Our hospital stresses an integrated approach to preventive care, dentistry, exceptional medical workups & treatments, surgery, as well as behavior and nutrition counseling.

Our staff to doctor ratio is approximately 3:1. Our normal work schedules are flexible and feature no overnight on call duty. Our technical staff includes highly trained Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs).  

Our Practice Manager is expected to be the “Integrator” for our Traction business management style. This means this position needs someone who is:

Our CVTs are trusted to do what you were trained to do to maximally make our doctors efficient. We focus on great client education and communication. We pay competitive wages and offer important benefits, tailored to your needs.
