The Opportunity

Come and be part of a brand new 32,000 square foot/two-story state-of-the-art hospital and Regional Training Center located in beautiful Queen Creek, AZ.  Opening Fall of 2022, our Arizona Regional Intensive Care, Specialty and Emergency practice will be the flagship Multi-Specialty & ER hospital of our three sister sites and will serve the fast-growing Chandler, Queen Creek, Tempe, Mesa and San Tan Valley areas of Southeast Phoenix.

ARISE is beginning to prepare for opening by bringing on the best & brightest within the world of veterinary medicine.  Our new team members will begin acclimating within our two already-established practices in Peoria and our Level 1 VECCS Certified Gilbert hospital.  These hospitals have created a reputation for their market-leading emergency care, strong culture and established internship program.

The Regional Training Center at ARISE will serve all three practices by providing experienced and talented doctors the tools and resources they need to provide the highest quality of care, the newest innovations and world class medical capabilities. ER DVMs with a passion for continued growth and the desire to teach will integrate well within our culture. Come join a highly supportive and teamwork-oriented environment and strive to provide the highest level of patient care.

Continued learning at all levels is our passion.  Intern lecture series and resident rounds are held every week with remote access.  Cage-side rounds are in-depth and focus on definitive and total patient care.

The Area

Hugging the foothills of San Tan Mountain Regional Park, the hiking and horseback riding trails of Queen Creek, Arizona offer access to more than 10,000 acres of the Sonoran Desert, yet the town lies only minutes away from the conveniences of the Phoenix area.

You can fill your days in a variety of ways within the town, from parks and recreational activities to farm tours (ever see how olive oil is made?) or the San Tan Historical Society and Museum.  You’ll feel right at home here, as this community prides itself on its country friendliness.

NVA Overview: NVA is a growing community of general practice clinics, emergency hospitals, equine practices, specialty hospitals, and pet resorts across five countries. Our doctors and pet care teams share best practices, medical knowledge, innovation, and insights. This collaborative approach allows each individual practice and pet resort to do what they do best: service their local community with compassionate, best-in-class care and medicine, to enhance the lives of the animals they love while backed by the support, stability, and leadership of NVA.

1-year rotating internship-trained and/or 3 years of Emergency experience.

About ARISE - Arizona Regional Intensive Care, Specialty and Emergency
Compassion-First and NVA recognize that we share deep-rooted values and priorities. For years, our dedication to Specialty and Emergency medicine has been a common background. Our groups have long shared the belief that the best patient care comes from championing hospitals in their local communities and supporting the practices and culture that have made them successful. We believe in empowering veterinarians and their teams with deeper resources so they can do more of what’s already working. Combining our strengths gives us the opportunity to make a lasting and positive impact on the profession, our people, and the care of animals. As one of the only dedicated Specialty and Emergency groups in the industry, NVA Compassion-First is the trusted partner of hospital teams who are looking for more—more resources to advance their medicine, a greater sense of belonging, and increased opportunities to care for their patients, clients and people.
