About Anchorage:

With the snow-capped Chugach mountain range to the East and the Beluga Whales in Cook inlet to the West, Anchorage, Alaska has something for everyone.

From the longest days in the lush greenery of summer to the longest nights in the Aurora-lit winter, you need to experience this gorgeous state year-round to truly understand its treasures.

Anchorage has been named one of the 10 best U.S. cities by Outside Magazine and is Alaska’s largest city with 41% of the state’s population. The city itself has a lot to offer from monthly art exhibits and concert series, excellent local restaurants and breweries, and all outdoor activities. Within city limits, you will find endless local running, cross-country skiing, biking, and hiking trails. There is local downhill skiing/snowboarding and Alyeska Resort only 45 min drive south to Girdwood. The Kenai Peninsula is only 150 miles south of Anchorage and offers excellent opportunities for dip netting, fly-fishing, and world class Salmon runs.  Sustainable living is an obtainable dream for many Alaskans.  Not into fishing? Travel 240 miles North of us to take in the vast Denali National Park and experience Mt. Denali, the tallest peak in North America.  Whale watch in Prince William Sound, Seward or Homer, camp on a beach, on a mountain, or beside a glacial lake.
