VISION OF POSITION:

At Wagly, our veterinarian's top priority is focusing on the pet’s quality of care. We’re looking for a DVM to add their passion, skills, and education to our team. We believe in hiring doctors with diverse perspectives, ideas, and cultures, all while ensuring our goal of exceptional service and client education.  The Associate Veterinarian will work in conjunction with the Medical Director, and Campus Director.

OUR HOSPITAL:

We take pride in our modern, state-of-the-art facilities, our high-quality standard of medicine, and our exceptional client care. We also have a fantastic staff willing to welcome you into the Wagly family. In addition to adequate supportive staff, we currently have ample in-house laboratory services and resources to practice medicine at the highest level.

• Modern building with 3 extremely large exam rooms, 1 very large treatment area, a surgery suite, 5 large rooms for boarding and play yards, isolation, bathing room, grooming room, a cat boarding room and a Manager/Doctor office
• Digital radiography
• Oncura ultrasound unit
• Cardell and SurgiVet, BP, Pulse, Capnograph, Oxygen, ECG, spO2 monitors
• Idexx Catalyst, Procyte, Sediview, UA Analyzer, and SnapPro machines for rapid in-house diagnostics
• State of the art dentistry equipment including ultrasonic scaler, high and low speed handpieces, and digital dental radiography
• Fully stocked in house pharmacy
• Paperless records

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Our right candidate is motivated, teamwork-oriented, competent, resourceful, and has well-developed and personable communication skills. Ideally will have 3 – 5 years of practice experience, however, recent graduates with a combination of internships and residency are welcome to apply.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must be a licensed veterinarian with at least five years of experience practicing. 
• Experience in a leadership role is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License, privilege, and DEA licenses.
• Must be a true pet fanatic – pets are part of your family.
• Must be a passionate team player and a strong motivator.
• Experience in problem-solving, exercising sound judgment, maintaining confidentiality
• The ability to interact professionally and effectively with co-workers, clients, and the public.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.
