Part time associate veterinarian wanted for a small animal hospital in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Rock Hill is a growing city that is approximately 20 minutes from Charlotte, North Carolina, 2 hours from the mountains, and 3 hours from the beach.

Our hospital has in-house laboratory equipment, in-house pharmacy, digital skeletal and dental radiographs, Parks Doppler, tonovet, ultrasound machine, and dental machine. You will be expected to diagnose and manage diseases, provide preventative medicine and educate owners about their pets. Surgery is not required but if interested in surgery, this can be arranged. Hours will include 2 weekdays and 2 Saturdays a month, either every other or 2 on then 2 off.

The candidate should be familiar with vaccinations, preventative medicine, have good communication skills, diagnose and treat medical conditions common to dogs and cats, and be able to educate clients on their pets. Surgical and dental skills are not required, however if interested in performing these procedures, arrangements can be made.
