Fox Valley Animal Hospital of Crystal Lake, Illinois is seeking a full or part time Veterinarian proficient in small animal medicine and surgery. We currently have 3 full time veterinarians and 1 part time veterinarian. Small mammals and exotics are optional and a small part of our practice. Our multi-doctor practice offers digital radiography (full body and dental), dentistry, ultrasound, Cornerstone software and integrated in-house Idexx lab equipment for blood work and urinalysis. 

We have great caring, long term support staff and terrific clientele.  We have won "Best of the Fox" several years in a row.  Take a look at Facebook and Google reviews and see our ratings!  In addition, we are a few minutes away from the Companion Animal Specialty and Emergency Clinic and an hour away from the Veterinary Specialty Clinic to referral is easy and there is no need for emergency duty.  We also have an on-call Veterinary Ultrasound Specialist/Internist that can assist us with complicated cases.

Our full time benefit package includes health insurance, disability, life insurance, liability insurance, 401K, licensing and dues, as well as paid CE (3 days and $1500) and paid vacation.  We also offer development programs for new graduates and associates through our corporation Blue River Petcare.  There is a $30,000 sign-on/relocation bonus; salary is commensurate with experience and can be negotiated either production or non-production.  (Schedule is flexible and full time benefits start at 30 hours per week.  Part time hours are available and flexible as well and can be discussed.)  

Our community offers two beautiful lakes for swimming, boating and fishing.  There are also several nature trails and dog parks nearby and a bike trail within minutes from the practice.  Crystal lake has its own Raue Center for the Arts for music and cultural fans, and our community is abundant with shopping centers and restaurants. Crystal Lake is also conveniently located on the Metra train route from Harvard to the city Chicago, making it easy to commute downtown.

At Fox Valley you will be allowed the freedom to practice good quality medicine combined with common sense, and have the opportunity to gain insight from our experienced veterinarians by consultation or mentorship.  At this time there are three full time and one part time veterinarian working at Fox Valley with over 70 years combined experience to help mentor new graduate veterinarians or new veterinarians in medicine and surgery.
