Apple Valley Animal Hospital is looking for another full-time DVM to join our growing small animal practice in Hendersonville, NC. We are a team and family-oriented practice that actively pursues a healthy work/life balance for all our staff. Private ownership allows us to pursue high quality medicine in a comfortable, friendly, and mentoring atmosphere.

Our doctors are committed to professional growth, team building, client education, and are Fear Free certified. Our paperless hospital utilizes Abaxis lab equipment (CBC, chemistry, PT/aPTT and urine analyzers), digital full and dental x-ray, ultrasound, class IV therapy laser, Stance mat, three certified technicians, and an amazing support staff. In addition to our broad diagnostic and treatment capabilities, we provide general surgical and dental procedures. For more advanced cases we work closely with mobile specialists and local specialty referral hospitals.

Doctors' hours are 8:15a to 6:00p with two-hour lunch breaks four days a week. 

Hendersonville has the features of a much larger city. Carolina School Hub has given Henderson County Schools 9 stars (on a scale of 1 to 10) when compared to other North Carolina counties. We enjoy fine dining, galleries, wineries, craft breweries, parks, a symphony, and Flat Rock Playhouse, the state theater of North Carolina.
