Our beautiful clinic is seeking a Medical Director Veterinarian.

Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP) is seeking an ambitious and team-oriented Veterinarian (Preferably 3-5 years out of school) with an interest in surgery and dentistry, to lead Gibraltar Veterinary Hospital (GVH) as its Medical Director. This is the perfect opportunity for a veterinarian who is passionate about owning their own practice or transitioning into a non-clinical role with endless leadership opportunity.

In this role, the Medical Director will provide a variety of animal healthcare duties in the hospital, as well as management, mentorship, and career development for veterinarian staff. Moreover, this individual will ensure the regulatory compliance of the animal hospital as well as develop, approve, and maintain veterinary standards of care for all patients. The Medical Director is also responsible for ensuring an environment of positive teamwork within hospital staff. Active and productive collaboration between staff members is critical to the success of this position!

 Schedule: Flexible (20 hours clinic / 10-20 hours managerial), 2-3 clinical days in association with hospital needs.

 Ideal Qualifications:

• Licensed State Veterinarian (active and clear)
• Experience in GP, soft tissue surgery and/or orthopedic surgery
• Previous Medical Director and leadership experience preferred, but not required
• Interest in dentistry a plus!
• High clinical standards - Committed to compassionate, exceptional veterinary care
• Dedicated to building a progressive and united culture
• Exceptional communication skills, energetic, organized, detail-oriented and outgoing
• Enjoys client and team-facing interactions
• A willingness to learn and grow using MVP's available training resources
• Passionate about teaching leadership skills and mentoring staff
