White Rock Veterinary Hospital, located in Pflugerville, Texas just north of Austin, is
seeking an Associate Veterinarian. We are a 6 doctor, 20 year old practice located in a
state-of-the-art 8 year-old facility. White Rock is a growing, progressive, diagnostic
veterinary hospital with special attention to small mammal exotics and reptiles.
Currently, the practice demographics are about 50% dogs and cats and 50% exotic pets,
split between rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, rats, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, other
small mammal exotic pets and reptiles. White Rock is focused on the practice of high
quality medicine and building strong and lasting relationships with our patients and
clients. Exceptional customer service and client communication, along with excellent
medical care, are the cornerstones of our practice.

We are a premiere veterinary facility and are members of a well managed practice group
and have developed a great culture, with common values and mission. We place great
value on our employees. The entire hospital staff work together as a team.
You will be assisted by a team of compassionate and well-trained support staff and will
work with an ABVP Diplomate in Exotic Companion Animals. We have a modern
facility with state-of-the-art equipment to offer our patients the best care, including
digital radiography, digital dental radiography, intensive care and surgical monitoring
equipment, in-house lab work capabilities, endoscopy, and ultrasound.

The Austin Texas area is consistently voted one of the best areas to live in the U.S.
and offers amenities for outdoor living with trails, parks, lakes, rivers, and greenspace in
a pet friendly environment. It is also known for live music and great restaurants.

At this time we are seeking a full time Associate Veterinarian, but will consider part
time applicants. We are looking for someone who can work 4 days per week and 1-2
Saturdays per month with no after-hours emergency call. The ideal candidate would have
2 years in-clinic/hospital experience and enjoy challenging cases and minor surgeries.
Exotic animal experience is a big plus. We provide mentoring based on the need and
level of experience of the candidate, and the doctors collaborate on cases regularly.
