The Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited, multi-specialty practice in Lynnwood, Washington—located just north of Seattle.

The Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle is excited to offer URGENT CARE as a NEW service at our hospital. This job is for YOU if you like to:

• Work day or swing shifts, with NO overnights
• Provide Outpatient care only
• Take a step up from the routine of general practice
• Take a step down from the rigors of Emergency medicine
• Be a hero for your clients and referral partners
• Interested in a team approach to Urgent Care medicine

• Wants to work an average of 3 shifts/week with flexible scheduling

Our goal is to relieve pressure from our local and busy ER hospitals, help our awesome referring veterinary community, and provide exceptional service to our loyal clients. This position will make a positive impact on your patients, clients and colleague's lives!

• Minor emergencies that are not life-threatening such as lacerations, limping/painful pets, hypersensitivity reactions, vomiting and/or diarrhea without significant dehydration, ear infections causing discomfort, urinary tract infections, non-obstructed FLUTD/FUS patients, etc.

• Cases that are referred by general practice veterinarians because they are unable to see them in a timely manner and fit within the scope of care we provide.

Our custom-built, 24,000 sq. ft. facility is well-equipped with in-house 1.5 Tesla MRI, a state of the art digital imaging system to include a 64-slice CT, fluoroscopy and C-arm, laparoscopy, endoscopy, arthroscopy, bronchoscopy, echocardiography (GE Vivid E9), ultrasound (GE Logiq S8 Vet), an Esprit Ventilator, Dialysis, and a fully equipped ICU to deliver the best possible patient care. We are a busy practice with a diversified caseload and our team (including 3 criticalists, 3 internists, 3 surgeons, 1 radiologist, 3 neurologists, 2 oncologists, 1 part-time cardiologist, and 10 highly experienced ER doctors, as well as a skilled technical and assistant staff) takes pride in its cohesion and teamwork.
