About Vermont Veterinary Eye Care
We believe that medical and surgical management of your pet’s ophthalmic condition can be optimized if we work as a team with your local veterinarian. Some ophthalmic conditions develop due to systemic diseases that can be complex. If this is the case, your pet may also benefit from other specialty departments within Peak Veterinary Referral Center to provide the complete picture of your pet’s health. Other specialties represented at Peak include cardiology, radiology (ultrasound, CT scan, MRI), dermatology, neurology, oncology, internal medicine, general and orthopedic surgery, animal behavior, and physical therapy. Some eye diseases can point toward heart disease, an endocrine condition, infectious disease, or even a neurologic condition. Oftentimes, we are able to consult with other specialists at Peak during your eye visit to get your pet well as soon as possible.
