Petsadena Animal Hospital is currently seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our close-knit medical team in our growing 5-doctor, progressive small animal practice in Pasadena, CA.

We are looking for a doctor with a strong interest in providing client education to be able to offer our clients all the options available for their pet’s care. The ideal candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, and organizational skills, a commitment to providing the highest level of client service, the ability to lead by example, and the energy and enthusiasm to continue to grow the practice all while maintaining effective communication at all levels.

Our practice is paperless (Cornerstone) and equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, an ultrasound, full in-house Idexx lab machines, an electrocautery unit for surgeries, and a therapeutic K-Laser. We are also proud to offer advanced procedures including gastrointestinal endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and video otoscopy. We provide a highly leveraged and well-trained medical team to assist our doctors in providing their patients with high-quality care.

We offer a 4-day work week with rotating Saturday shifts. No overnight or on-call hours. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education Requirements
• D.V.M. licensed in the State of California.

Experience Requirements
• Experience as a D.V.M. in companion animal practice for a minimum of 3 years

Personal Requirements
• Excellent medical and surgical skills
• Significant continuing education achievements, beyond licensing requirements
• Excellent communication skills with team members and clients
• Ability to recognize that teamwork is essential for a top-quality hospital; ability to work 
as a team member as well as a doctor
• Working knowledge of and interest in the business aspect of a veterinary practice
• Willingness to perform management responsibilities
• Willingness to work emergencies or extra hours when needed
• Interest in contributing to marketing efforts for growth of the practice
