CHEW Animal Clinic is a nonprofit veterinary clinic, appointment only, offering full diagnostics, treatment, hospitalization, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic, S/N, wellness and more! CHEW is growing quickly and we need to add passionate Veterinarians to join our team!

CHEW is looking for a Veterinarian who is comfortable with diagnostics and/or surgery. CHEW has multiple relief DVMs who help with both surgeries and appointments, so we can structure your schedule with what you enjoy doing most! Because we offer a vast amount of services at an affordable cost, most of our patients are sick and/or injured. Because of this, we do seek a Veterinarian who has at least 2-3 years in the field and comfortable with internal medicine.

2022 is going to be a GREAT year! We are adding 2000sq ft, equipped with 2 more operating rooms (one dedicated to orthopedic surgeries), 1 additional treatment room, larger break room and more! 

CHEW is conveniently located off 75 and Walnut Hill (by Presbyterian Hospital) on 2 acres, perfect for community events and fundraisers. We are blocks from great restaurants and shops.
We are open Monday Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Loan Forgiveness under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program (PSLF)
Our contracts don't have minimum required stay OR non-competes!
If you want to work weekends, we can open for you!
If you want to work evenings, we can open for you!

AT CHEW: New IDEXX lab in-house and reference lab options, new ultrasound and digital x-ray machine, double surgery suite, well thought-out isolation ward, ESU unit, two full anesthetic monitors with capnograph, and more

• Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases
• Perform surgeries (S/N and soft tissue), preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M) required
• Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Texas
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to promote a positive, uplifting work environment
