Details for Overnight Emergency Veterinarian:

Southside Animal Hospital  is looking for a full-time overnight emergency veterinarian to provide after-hours urgent & emergency services to a 90+ mile radius in West Central Texas. We currently staff overnight emergency hours with our GP DVMs as well as colleagues from the surrounding area, but have had to reduce hours on 2 nights a week from 24/7 due to retirement of one of our DVMs in December 2021. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, has good communication and time management skills, has sense of humor and is willing to tailor diagnostic and treatment plans to the individual client and patient without judgement that can help spread out emergency responsibilities with our other DVMs. We strive to provide the best medical and surgical care possible to a wide spectrum of clients and their pets. Small exotics are seen on emergency hours per the individual DVMs comfort level and experience.
