Part-time (MONDAYS) Veterinary Technician Position for Ophthalmology
Vermont Veterinary Eye Care in Williston, Vermont, has an opening for a part-time veterinary technician for Mondays. This is an exciting time to join our team as we added another doctor and support staff in 2021. We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills and teamwork capabilities. As a vet tech with VEC you would be responsible for client communication and education, taking histories, physical exams, animal restraint, venipuncture, running lab work, IV catheter placement, anesthesia
monitoring, surgical assisting, post-surgical recovery of patient, surgical pack & prep, inventory management, some digital radiography, etc. We are a very busy practice so efficiency is a must! Small and large animal patients seen with some wildlife and exotics. (No large animal experience necessary.) Wages are commensurate with experience. This position involves a 10-hour day on Mondays and offers
the potential for occasional overtime or rare emergency hours if the candidate is interested.
