Hudson Highlands Veterinary Medical Group enjoys a 50-year legacy of service to our community and the surrounding areas. We continue to strive to honor a legacy of compassion, integrity, respect and selflessness towards each other, clients, patients, colleagues, and community. Our modern, 11,000 square foot main facility houses an onsite CT scan, ultrasound suite, dental suite, endoscopy, underwater treadmill, separate specialty and general practice surgery suites, multiple patient wards including separate cat ward, ICU, doctor offices, radiology suite, spacious treatment room and a large, welcoming reception area. We have a class IV laser unit and a digital thermal imaging unit. Our second facility in nearby Beacon is utilized for outpatient care and boarding. In addition to our team of 7 general practitioners...and skilled support staff, we offer Specialists in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Cardiology and Exotics. The area also boasts access to Oncology, Neurology, Behavioral and Ophthalmology services for your patients. The Hudson Valley has something to offer everyone…local hiking, wineries, historic sites, rock climbing, wonderful restaurants (think Culinary Institute!), watersports on the Hudson and easy access to New York City amenities to the south as well as the Adirondack mountains and Lake George to the north. Our local community is a wonderful place to raise a family.

  • Be proficient in high quality medicine and surgery…an interest in dentistry/surgery a plus but not a must.
  • Schedule to be determined based on needs of individual candidates in an effort to maintain a healthy work-life balance but some weekend work required.
  • Ideal candidate would have a heart of service, professional enthusiasm….and a great sense of humor is always welcome!
  • Opportunity to develop areas of special interest.
  • Candidates should enjoy working in an environment that fosters both teamwork and independence.
  • Electronic patient records and ample skilled support staff to allow doctors time to practice great medicine.
  • Excellent benefits including 401K with a 10% match for a F/T position as well as health insurance, personal pet care, professional dues and CE allowance.
  • Compensation to be discussed based on experience and schedule, hiring bonus also offered.
