Galesburg Animal Hospital, PC is seeking a full-time associate veterinarian to join our busy 2 doctor practice. Our patients are exclusively small animal with some exotics. We are located in Galesburg, Illinois and are near Peoria to the south and the Quad Cities to the north. Galesburg is a thriving small ltown surrounded by other farming communities. It is rich in culture and history with a low cost of living. New graduates are welcome with a big opportunity to be mentored.  We are fully staffed with veterinary technicians and assistants to support an efficient and organized work flow. We are equipped with Idexx laboratory equipment, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, monitors and many other modern pieces allowing high level dagnositics. We use a traveling ultrasound company. We use Idexx Cornerstone software and are paper light. . The ideal candidate will be compassionate, dedicated and sharp.  He/she must recognize that as veterinarians, we take care of animals but our industry is also very much about serving people. People skills are needed to communicate well with pet parents.

Galesburg Animal Hospital is home to a team of professionals dedicated to providing quality, compassionate care for pets. Dr. Weech and wife, Pam (who is the practice manager) have owned and operated the practice since 1983. Dr. Weech is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He is an accomplished surgeon in orthopedics and soft tissue surgeries that might otherwise be referred to specialists. His expertise in small animal and exotic care is unmatched in the Galesburg area. Dr. King, associate veterinarian graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She graduated in the top 20% of her veterinary class and received a CVM Award of Academic Excellence. Dr. King joined the practice soon after graduation. Galesburg Animal Hospital offers complete medical, dental and surgical services to the Galesburg area. Boarding and grooming complement the medical offerings. Diagnostic services include but are not limited to Idexx laboratory, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, electrocardiograms, tonometry and traveling ultrasound availability.
