Looking for a slower pace with a flexible schedule, appreciative clients, and generous compensation? Do you have a passion for people as well as animals? Are you looking for an entirely different way to practice?

Tranquility Vets, located in Washington D.C., is searching for a Full-Time or Part-Time Veterinarian to join our completely mobile at home euthanasia practice. We offer all-inclusive euthanasia services to pet families in D.C. and surrounding areas. At Tranquility Vets you will do truly meaningful work, at a slow pace, get paid generously, and still be able to spend time with family, friends, and hobbies.

A foundational principle of Tranquility Vets is that we can provide an important service to families while also supporting a high quality of life for practitioners. You can expect a 2 - 4 day work week with a max of 5 appointments daily, no on-call. The flexible schedule can be changed to accommodate appointments, personal time, and childcare realities. Some weekend and evening availability is preferred, although not required. Part-time considered. Strict COVID protocols have been put into place to help protect our team and clients.

Veterinarian Responsibilities:

-Perform peaceful at home pet euthanasia in the metro DC area

-Learn about and practice the "companioning model" for helping grieving families

-Transport deceased pets from the home to your car with great care and dignity

-Minimal medical record keeping

-Licensed Veterinarian in good standing in DC, MD, VA

-Ability to obtain DEA license

-Genuinely enjoy working with people

-Excellent driving record

-Able to carry 50 lbs

-Willingness to adhere to COVID protocols

NOTES:
