Associate Veterinarian

Come live and work in beautiful Lafayette, Colorado!  We are located 10 miles east of Boulder with a park in back, stunning views of the foothills and plentiful outdoor recreational activities nearby.

Jasper Animal Hospital is a privately owned small-animal hospital with a great community reputation.  We pride ourselves on giving excellent medical care while still having that "small-town" feel.  We are looking for a full-time associate to add to our team of four full-time doctors and two part-time doctors.  This rare wonderful opportunity is coming about because of healthy growth and an unexpected doctor medical leave.

Our associate vets provide outstanding medical care for companion animals.  We see primarily dogs and cats, but do also see pocket pets. Birds and reptiles are welcome although not seen commonly. We have a surgical suite, on-site laboratory for in-house CBC, chemistry, T4, urinalysis and fecal analysis, on-site pharmacy, digital radiology suite and digital dental radiology unit.   We have an in-house ultrasound unit as well.  We also partner with several excellent specialty doctors who regularly come in and do on-site ultrasounds, echocardiograms, and orthopedic and specialty surgeries.

At Jasper Animal Hospital we prioritize ensuring that our staff is well-taken care of; we offer competitive salary and excellent benefits, including medical, vision and dental insurance, 401k matching, CE allowance, as well as reimbursement for membership dues and liability coverage.  Doctors enjoy a four day work week with a Saturday rotation, typically once a month with a flex day off during the week to compensate.  After-hours emergencies are handled by several competent 24-hour ER clinics in the area.
