Associate Veterinarian - Lake Region Animal Hospital

Lake Region Animal Hospital is growing!  We are looking for a part-time or full-time veterinarian to help support our team.  Come work in Windham, Maine - the perfect blend of rural charm and accessibility to Portland and all of its amenities! We are a PRIVATELY-OWNED hospital - no corporate medicine here!  We are open to a candidate seeking part-time or full-time employment.   If you are looking for part-time work, we are looking for help on Wednesday, and ideally 1-2 other days during the week. A full time schedule would be 4 days per week and we can be flexible with scheduling.

Our practice was established in 1976.  Most of our staff has been with us for 10+ years and we happily exist in a drama-free environment.  We are looking for a candidate that is interested in practicing progressive medicine - we take great pride in our ability to educate our clients and deliver best-practice medicine to our patients.   Our current doctors believe in a collaborative, team-based approach and we frequently share cases.  We are ideally suited to mentor a new-graduate - though of course veterinarians with experience would also be welcome! We have all of the tools needed to practice excellent medicine - digital rads, digital dental rads, full in-house bloodwork, ultrasound, advanced patient monitoring equipment including blood pressure, and even an endoscope! 

We offer excellent pay, and are willing to offer PTO for part-time professional staff members, as well as a healthy CE budget. A candidate working 3 days per week would also be eligible for our 401k with 3.5% company match.  Full-time employees are eligible for fully-paid health/vision/dental insurance, performance bonuses, paid time off (sick and vacation) - all with a 4-day work week.  If you are interested, please email us a resume or give us a call!
