Associate Veterinarian (Full Time/Part Time)

Small animal associate sought for growing, progressive, 2 location hospital in Dover, DE.  Applicants should be client and patient focused with a willingness to introduce new ideas and collaborate with peers.  The hospital employs 11 full and part time doctors with varying years of experience and a wide range of interests.  Mentorship in many areas is available to new graduates if desired.

We are looking for doctors who are interested in general practice but would also like to pursue a special interest to broaden the offerings of the hospitals.  Excellent support staff, work hours, salary and benefits included.  We currently offer small animal digital radiology, cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, in house laboratory, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, laser and dentistry in addition to routine care.  There is a local emergency center that handles after hours and weekend emergencies.  Hours are available there if interested but not required. 

Our benefits package is negotiable but generally includes vacation time, continuing education time and allowance, health insurance, retirement account with match, licensing and liability insurance.

We are located in central Delaware.  This area is a steadily growing suburban community that manages to maintain its ties to its agricultural roots.  Beaches and accompanying water activities are readily accessible both in the bay and ocean with the metropolitan centers of Washington DC, Philadelphia and Baltimore no more than a 2 hour drive away.
