Bayhill Equine, Inc is currently seeking a full or part-time associate to join our equine ambulatory practice. For over 30 years we have provided the highest level of sports medicine care to elite equine athletes. Our clientele consists primarily of hunter/jumpers, in addition to dressage, eventing, and some pleasures horses. Learn and discuss cases with highly regarded practitioners in the field including two-time Team Veterinarian for the World Equestrian Games, USA team veterinarian for the World Championships in Sweden, and service at one of the preeminent equine hospitals in the country.

Our culture is defined by collaboration, unparalleled standards of care, and continued learning. What sets our practice apart is an environment of support, flexibility, and an active commitment to seek out opportunities for independence and professional growth.

We’re looking for someone who comes to us with integrity, skills, curiosity, and a sincere desire to contribute to our team with new ideas. We highly prize great communication skills, initiative, and a sense of humor. We are equally passionate about developing new areas of expertise, staying on the cutting edge of standards of care, and continuing education.

We operate as a highly integrated team relying on the expertise and support of our veterinarians, technicians, support staff and clients. Our relationships with many of our clients span several decades and our continuing relationships with Bayhill "alumni" are a great source of pride. Our client roster grows annually and currently includes premier training barns, a renowned university, and an equine assisted rehabilitation facility.

Our practice is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, shock wave, class 4 regenerative laser, and a 3-meter video endoscope. Services provided include stem cell therapy, IRAP, PRP, ProStride, acupuncture, chiropractic, and much more. Additionally, a fully equipped vehicle is provided.

While experience or internship training is preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply. Applicants must have a DVM or VMD with an ability to obtain a California license.  Salary is commensurate with experience and production. Benefits include medical, dental, IRA, AAEP and AVMA membership dues, flexible work schedules, and a continuing education allowance.
