Are you an experienced Emergency Veterinarian looking for a fast paced clinic with an awesome support staff?

Are you a new grad looking to enter the exciting field of emergency medicine but lack the training and experience?

Do you currently work in General Practice and are getting bored with routine and are seeking a challenge?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions,  then the Animal Emergency Clinic of the Hudson Valley has the opportunity for you. We are seeking caring and energetic emergency veterinarians to join our team.  Experience in Emergency Medicine is preferred.  However, we are willing to provide mentor-ship and training to the right candidates.

We are a well established off hours emergency facility with 2 hospitals approximately 45 minutes apart and service clients from the surrounding areas. Both hospitals are fully equipped with modern diagnostic capabilities including digital x-ray, full in-house laboratory, ultrasound and monitoring equipment. Our support staff consists of wonderful and highly experienced Licensed Technicians and Veterinary Assistants. We are located approximately 2 hours north of NYC in the beautiful Hudson Valley.

Some of the benefits we have to offer are:  2 or 3 day work week, full time or part time hours, Mentor-ship,  Excellent compensation based upon experience,  $20,000 - $50,000 sign on bonus,  assistance with relocation expenses, Medical, Dental, Simple IRA with employer match, Continuing education allowance, Bonus program, etc.

About Animal Emergency Clinic of the Hudson Valley
The AECHV was founded in 1989 and is comprised of two, state-of-the-art equipped, and staffed hospitals located in Kingston and Poughkeepsie, New York. As our name implies, we are strictly and emergency facility, dedicated to meeting your pets medical needs when your family veterinarian is unavailable. No appointment is necessary, however, if time permits, please call ahead so we may better prepare for your arrival. Because we work very closely with your family veterinarian, our goals are to stabilize, support and treat emergency patients until your regular veterinarian becomes available for transfer. In essence, we operate as an extension of your daytime practice. Our highly trained veterinarians, licensed technicians, assistants and receptionists will make sure that when you and your pet need us the most, we are here with the very best!
