Hillside Small Animal Hospital is looking for the right veterinarian to round out our team of compassionate professionals.

Become a part of something special. Seeking a part-time veterinarian to join the Hillside Small Animal Hospital family. We are a 2-doctor practice in the Clermont County Seat of Batavia, Ohio, looking to expand to 3 doctors. The right candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to effective communication with clients. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply. Established in 1996, our current facility was built in 2011, and we practice comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, with an emphasis on thorough medicine, quality surgery, careful dentistry, and above all a focus on the pet as a family member. As part of a team of three doctors, duties include but aren't limited to seeing daily appointments. Performing elective and non-elective surgery. Overseeing dentistry and performing surgical dental extractions. 3-4 days per week, including Saturdays.

Pay is based on a prorated full-time salary commensurate with experience,  with a transition to revenue-based pay as the practitioner becomes more established in the practice. We also offer health benefits and 401(K).

About Batavia, Ohio

Batavia, Ohio, is a small town with rural roots, just minutes away from Greater Cincinnati. With a population of 1,509, Batavia is the Clermont County seat. The village has a total area of 1.62 square miles and is surrounded by Batavia Township. Hillside Small Animal Hospital is just off of Ohio State Route 32, also known as the Appalachian Highway, a major east-west highway that connects Interstate 275 and the Cincinnati area to the rural counties of Southern Ohio. State Routes 132 and 222 also pass through Batavia's downtown area. The Clermont Transportation Connection provides daily bus service to downtown Cincinnati.

There are several award-winning school districts in the region, and less than a 30-minutes away you'll find championship golf, tennis, Kings Island, the Cincinnati Aronoff Theater, Great American Ballpark (home of the Cincinnati Reds), Paul Brown Stadium (home of the Cincinnati Bengals), several multiplex theaters and shopping and outlet malls.

Job Requirments:

Must be licensed by the State of Ohio to practice veterinary medicine.

Communication skills are a must.

Hillside Small Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary practice administering to canine and feline patients. The area provides a great mix of clientele. Established in 1996, Hillside has a staff of 18 employees, including three licensed veterinary technicians, a full-time and a part-time veterinarian. Our state-of-the-art facility, constructed in 2011, allows us to better fulfill our mission statement of "Friendly, full-service veterinary for your dog or cat". We strive to stay progressive and provide comprehensive medical and surgical services while remaining affordable and treating every client like family.
