We are looking to add a long term associate veterinarian to our team.  We are located in northeast Alabama, in one of the safest and fastest growing cities in Alabama.  The cost of living is low and living on the Coosa River is affordable, or if you want a home with 10-20 acres.  There are great school systems for kids and we are close to Atlanta, the Gulf Coast, and plenty of local things to do for vacations and entertainment.

Our clinic has a very laid back attitude.  You don’t have to be the smartest vet or write the most in the medical record.  We want someone who is friendly to the clients and wants to try their best everyday.  Most days we are done at 5:30 pm and get to enjoy time with our families.  Our clients allow you to run diagnostics and want the best treatments.  Our prices and fees are affordable and low compared to the nationwide averages.  This allows you to do more treatment for less money.

We have a super support staff, consisting of multiple licensed veterinary technicians and assistants.  They do most of the busy work which allows you to focus on veterinary medicine.  We are accommodating to new graduates and experienced veterinarians.  Our hospital has two blood analyzers, two surgery suites, laser surgery units, therapy lasers, digital radiographs and digital dental radiographs. We have a new ultrasound machine and Digatherm infrared camera for thermal imaging.  There are two close referral options, a specialist hospital an hour away and Auburn CVM.

Don’t go work at some boring corporate clinic where you have to follow a flow chart and give estimates for every ear cytology.  Come join our fun, laid back clinic where you make the decisions.  We are willing to offer 1 year, 2 year, 4 year, or even 8 year contracts so you can choose what fits your goals and plans.  An eight year contract averaging $125,000/year would gross you over 1 million dollars.  Or a half million in 4 years.  We also work with local humane societies and Tigers for Tomorrow when they need veterinary care.

We provide health and dental insurance, AVMA dues, Liability insurance, licenses and offer a profit sharing retirement plan.  Salary commensurates with experience plus 20% commission of gross production.  Our associates make from $100,000 to over $150,000/year depending on their schedule and length of contract.  We will assist in relocation expenses or signing bonuses.  Contact us for a tour and meet our team.  Email us at dresouthsidepetclinic@gmail.com

NOTES:
2 openings.

Additional Salary Information: 20% commission of gross production
