Grab your hiking boots and come practice medicine at a brand-new, state-of-the-art emergency/specialty hospital in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! NVA Compassion-First is growing and building a brand-new hospital in Vancouver, Washington!

Pacific Northwest Pet ER & Specialty Center is expected to open in August 2021, this state-of-the-art, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital will join the NVA Compassion-First network of 42 esteemed hospitals, including VetMED (Phoenix, AZ), Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (Houston, TX), Red Bank Veterinary Hospitals (Mount Laurel, Hillsborough and Tinton Falls, NJ), Care Center (Dayton and Cincinnati, OH), and others, and it will offer the latest innovations in veterinary medicine. And, true to the NVA Compassion-First Pet Hospitals brand, it will prioritize compassion while ensuring pets receive the best medical outcomes.

This hospital is being built from the ground up. Like all NVA Compassion-First hospitals, it will be part of its community with its own unique identity and brand.

Why NVA Compassion-First?

  • You’ll have the opportunity to help shape and grow with a new hospital as part of its original team.
  • You’ll practice in a beautiful new facility with abundant, well-thought-out space and new, top-of-the-line equipment.
  • You’ll earn a highly competitive salary and benefits package, along with additional incentives.
  • Because each NVA Compassion-First hospital maintains a unique brand identity and equity in its local community, you’ll enjoy all the benefits of working with a collaborative family of hospitals while experiencing the feel of working in a privately owned practice.

Why Vancouver?

Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains, Vancouver is a wonderland for hiking, cycling, kayaking, and other outdoor activities. The Pacific Coast is a short 1.5-hour drive west, while some of the finest ski resorts are about an hour east of Vancouver. And, with Portland, Oregon, only 10 miles away, you’ll enjoy easy access to food carts, coffee shops, incredible restaurants, Powell’s Books, breweries, theaters, and shopping. There is truly something for everyone in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Plus, living in Washington State means no state income tax!

Do you want to be part of the team that shapes our new 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital? Send your CV to Susanne Miller at susanne.miller@compassionfirstpets.com or click here to apply.
