Hope Springs Veterinary is a thriving small animal, multi-location organization. 
All three of our locations are AAHA accredited and located in growing areas of Chesapeake and Virginia Beach. 
We are seeking veterinarians who are passionate about providing exceptional medical and compassionate care, cultivating relationships with clients to care for their pets throughout their lifetime, and are motivated and driven to continually pursue new developments and advances in veterinary medicine. 

We strive to provide an environment for our veterinarians to:

  • Be challenged and collaborate with other veterinarians on diverse medical and surgical cases
  • Develop individual care plans to address patient needs 
  • Be supported by a patient focused, fun loving, knowledgeable and skilled team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians, veterinary assistants, client care coordinator and dedicated kennel team 
  • Find balance in practicing veterinary medicine at the highest level and enjoying the Hampton Roads area

Hours vary by location

Great Bridge (Chesapeake)
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8 am - 8 pm
Wednesday and Friday: 8 am - 6 pm
Saturday: 8 am - 2 pm

Pembroke (Virginia Beach)
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8 am - 8 pm
Thursday: 8 am - 6 pm
Friday: 8 am - 5 pm
Saturday: 8 am - 2 pm

Sajo Farm (Virginia Beach) - New Building Opening Spring 2021
Monday - Friday: 8 am - 12 am
(we have a dedicated emergency veterinarian who covers evening hours after 7 pm)
Saturday: 8 am - 1 pm

If you enjoy outdoor activities, we are conveniently located within minutes of Virginia Beach and a short drive from the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  There are numerous hiking trails and parks to enjoy during your time away from the office.  The area has activities for many interests from sports fans (baseball and ice hockey teams), cultural pursuits (museums, galleries), wineries and breweries, along with various festivals and celebrations.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Virginia
  • Motivated, compassionate team player
  • Collaborative mentality in seeking and providing assistance to others
  • Ability and desire to handle diverse medical caseload

Hope Springs Veterinary is dedicated to be innovative with our practice of veterinary medicine while always remaining true to our purpose of being rooted in relationships with our clients, patients and team members. We strive to provide a positive team culture that encourages communication and a supportive environment where our teams work together toward our common goal. Being a single doctor owned, three location organization, we embrace the feeling of family and the special place pets hold in the lives of our clients and team members. We currently have two locations in Virginia Beach and one location in Chesapeake. All of our locations are AAHA accredited with two of them reaching their 25 year milestone. It is an exciting time to be in veterinary medicine and we embrace the new developments and technology that are being discovered and coming available. Our diagnostic and treatment capabilities include but are not limited to: therapy laser, in house blood machines, digital dental and primary radiography, ultrasound, laparoscopy, endoscopy along with a recently added CT scanner at our Sajo Farm location. We continue to maintain the core belief that our team is our greatest asset without whom we would not be able to provide care for so many.
