Hospital Technician Manager to help recruit, train, supervise and mentor veterinary support staff.  Established high quality 24/7 AAHA  SA/Exotic general/ER practice with excellent facility, core values, high integrity culture, and standards of care.   Practice follows standards of Fear Free, VECCS, and Cat Friendly Practice.   The manager will work under the mentoring and support of the Hospital Administrator.

Licensed Veterinary Technician certification.  

Experience in veterinary field.  Familiarity with and eagerness to master AAHA, Fear Free, Cat Friendly, and VECCS practice standards

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.

Commitment to continual self improvement and a career in veterinary practice management/hospital administration focusing on recruiting, training, leading and mentoring veterinary support staff.  Interest in VTS certification in an area such as canine and feline or emergency practice will be enthusiastically supported.

 

 

NOTES:

Additional Salary Information: full employee benefit package including insurance, ce, dues, uniform salary will be at or above market and based on experience, skill set, references and education

Job Description All Pets Animal Hospital and 24 Hour Emergency Care is a rapidly growing, bond-centered, AAHA , Cat Friendly Gold, Fear Free, small animal, avian and exotic, emergency, and house-call veterinary practice located in Katy, Texas, 20 miles west of Houston. We also offer rehabilitation, grooming,and boarding services. We have a new modern facility built in March of 2011, which is a 2012 Veterinary Economic Merit Award winning facility. We also received the Greater Houston Better Business Bureau Award for Excellence annually since 2013. In 2020, our hospital founder, owner, and medical director, Dr. Pat Choyce, entered a joint venture partnership with Lakefield Veterinary Group (www.lakefieldvet.com) to dramatically expand the practice potential and create more opportunity for his team.
