Community Pet Hospital located in Thornton, CO is looking to add THREE Veterinary Technicians to our team! SIGN ON BONUSES AVAILABLE!

  1. Daytime General Practice Veterinary Technician
  2. Daytime Emergency Veterinary Technician
  3. Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician Lead

About Us:

Community Pet Hospital has two convenient locations and the Washington Street location is north Denver’s ONLY 24-hour full service veterinary hospital. We were voted “Best Veterinarian in Adams County” by readers of the Thornton Sentinel.

We have been part of the community since 1959 and offer exceptional state-of-the-art care. Our team is trained in low-stress handling and committed to their continual development & staying up to date on the latest advances in veterinary medicine.

What to Expect:

  • Our highly skilled technicians are an integral part of the team. They are provided the opportunity to utilize their skill-sets to the highest level and perform a wide range of procedures.
  • A great learning environment! Our Doctors enjoy having the opportunity to mentor, guide and help grow technicians. They allow techs to participate in the medicine and really partner in patient care.
  • Our team strives to support and encourage each other, celebrating wins, big or small.
  • Ability to see a wide variety of cases virtually guaranteeing no two days are the same.

About You:

  • You are a Veterinary Technician - experience is preferred (but not required) and credentialing is always a plus! (This will vary be each position)
  • You are organized, compassionate, and are committed to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.
  • You’re able to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations & enjoy the thrill of a fast-paced environment/thinking critically on your feet
  • You’re looking for an opportunity to utilize your full skill-set while simultaneously learning new & advanced techniques.
  • You understand that clear, effective communication among clients and team members is a priority and are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families

Anticipated Schedule:

  • Flexible Scheduling! We strive to foster a healthy work life balance for our team members
  • Typically, four 10-hour shifts with a weekend rotation, but open to discussing options!

Compensation:

  • Range can be anywhere from $16 - $25 depending on position, experience, skillset, & shift.
