Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists (ACVS) is looking for an Emergency Veterinarian to join our amazing team!

ACVS is a 24 hour specialty and emergency hospital located on Long Island. ACVS was founded in 2002 as the first multi-specialty referral and emergency hospital in Suffolk County, NY and has been providing the gold standard of care to our patients since then.  The emergency team collaborates with our board certified cardiologists, surgeon, internist, oncologist, and neurologist, so every case gets the best care possible. ACVS is fully equipped with advanced, state of the art equipment, including fluoroscopy, cardiac catheterization lab, 1.5T MRI, CT, multiple ultrasound machines, digital radiography, and endoscopy. We have experienced staff, including licensed veterinary technicians, who enable our doctors to be efficient and well-supported! We have flexible scheduling, offering a rotating schedule of days and nights or an ER flex schedule of 10 overnight and weekend shifts per month. Our ER Flex veterinarians will work a schedule of 10 overnight and weekend shifts per month for a salary of $140k, receive up to a $25K sign on/retention bonus and a full benefits package.  For additional shift coverage there is potential to earn a higher base salary shift coverage there is potential to earn a higher base salary. Not based in the area and not looking to relocate? We can offer you a schedule and travel stipend that allows you to travel to the clinic for your shifts, and then enjoy time at home in between.

ACVS is located in Suffolk County, which is a great location for all ages. For those that enjoy the city life, Manhattan is only 50 miles away.
