Mixed or small animal veterinarian. Full- or part-time. Our practice is different than most practices!  We approach cases as a team, we work well together, treat each other with respect and love our jobs!  We strive to provide the best quality medicine and surgery we can, but we also value work/life balance. Our staff is the key-they are a group of positive minded people, many of whom have worked on our team for many years.   This is not an accident.  We started hiring for attitude many years ago.  Attitude is something which can't be taught.  We have a long list of state of the art equipment for you to use, as well as a Stonewell equipped truck if you are doing mixed animal work.  You get to work as a Doctor-our technicians are there to assist you so you can do what you were meant to be-a doctor of pets! Whether you are in the hospital or on a farm call you have a technician working beside you.  We are AAHA certified and practice Fear-Free methods of handling.  Our full time doctors work 4 days per week average and receive above average compensation including health insurance, 401(k) and paid vacations. Located on Florida's west coast 90 minutes from Gainesville, Orlando & Tampa. Our county offers many recreational activities, good schools, low crime and great quality of life; biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, golf and more. 92% small animal/8% equine with some exotics, goats and pot bellied pigs and are open to new interests. Potential future ownership available if desired.  $5,000 signing bonus for full time applicant.   We are very comfortable mentoring as needed.  We look forward to meeting you-you won't find a better team to work with!  Life is too short to work in a job/environment you don't enjoy!

DVM degree with Florida license & federal accreditation.  Must have a good driving record and have Florida drivers license.

Skills required are a strong medical knowledge, proficiency in surgery, equine experience mandatory for mixed animal candidate, good communication skills and ability to work within a team based management environment.

NOTES:

Additional Salary Information: Health insurance; 401K; 2 weeks paid vacation; $1,000 continuing education, 2 professional memberships, license fee, DEA fee, $5,000 signing bonus (for full time applicant).
