Vista Veterinary Specialists, is seeking an internship trained or experienced emergency veterinarian to join our Emergency and Specialty Referral hospital in Sacramento, California.  

We are seeking a team member who has excellent interpersonal skills, desires to be a team player, and possesses strong time management skills. This position will include a combination of days and nights with every other weekends. 

Vista is a 24/7/365 Emergency and Specialty hospital providing care in internal medicine, oncology, surgery, dermatology, radiology, cardiology and critical care.  Within our remodeled 9,000 square foot facility, there are dedicated specialty exam and treatment rooms, on-site Vimago CT/fluoroscopy, MRI, ultrasonography, digital radiography, and full in-house laboratory.  

Our hospital is well equipped with 3 surgical suites, 11 exam rooms and 2 isolation wards. In addition, the ER department receives 24/7 support from board-certified surgeons. Our current staff includes 9 full-time ER doctors and 1 full-time Criticalist.
