Associate Veterinarian - Mixed Animal Practice

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to add to our team at Lee's Summit Animal Hospital!

Lee's Summit Animal Hospital has been serving Lee's Summit and Kansas City area for over 70 years. We have a deep connection to the community and have a loyal relationship with our multi-generational client base. Our main location functions as a mixed animal, but predominantly companion animal practice. In addition, there we have a smaller sister clinic in north Lee's Summit catering to small animal companion only. We have a tenured team of 11 doctors between our two practices, ranging in practice experience 30+ years. Our practice is BUSY and we run at a fast-pace with very little seasonal fluctuation.

Our team enjoys working in a welcoming, collaborative environment. There is a variety of practice styles and philosophies amongst doctors which leaves room for autonomy in a respectful, supportive culture. We allow flexibility to pursue personal interests, ie. Exotics, mixed practice, or area of specialty desired. Mentoring is readily available in both an informal and formal setting! New graduates have plenty of opportunity to grow and develop with us while still allowing independence to quickly build self-sufficiency.

We are staffed with an experienced team of registered veterinary technicians, assistants and customer service representatives. Our facility is fully equipped with a surgical suite, multiple inhalant anesthetic machines, brand new dental radiograph equipment, digital radiograph unit, ultrasound and endoscope. We also have a large animal area with stock and stall, two ambulatory trucks with units, portable chute, portable ultrasound and portable radio-graph unit.
