Associate Veterinarian

Ruskin Animal Hospital in Ruskin, FL, is seeking a Full time Associate Veterinarian to join our team.  

We are a multi-doctor, small animal GP practice located 30 minutes south of Tampa, FL.  We are looking for a self-motivated, compassionate candidate capable of providing high quality medical care in a fast-paced environment.   Excellent communication skills with a clear understanding of the importance of client education and customer service are a must.  Proficiency in soft tissue surgery and dentistry required.  

We have a well-established practice with dedicated and talented support staff.  Our growing community and amazingly loyal clientele make for busy, but fulfilling days. We offer a four-day work week with rotating Saturdays and no after hour emergencies.  Experienced candidates preferred.

Job Requirements 

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, or equivalent, from accredited university
• Licensure in good standing
• Strong medical and soft tissue surgical skills
• Exemplary communications skills
• Self-motivated, team oriented, compassionate individual
• Positively represent the hospital to our clients and community
