Berrien Veterinary Services in Baroda, MI is looking for a small or mixed animal veterinarian to join our fun loving but professional team. We are a mixed animal hospital with a long history of care for companion pets and large animals, along with the occasional exotic pet, in a friendly, flexible, compassionate atmosphere.  Our equipment includes a full IDEXX lab, ultrasound, new digital radiography, new dental radiography and dental machines.

We are proud of our experienced staff, ranging from 2 to 20 years of experience, who work together to create a culture of positivity and enjoyment of the important work that we do. Our new doctor can look forward to working with collaborative, enthusiastic veterinarians who love their profession and are committed to providing an outstanding experience for our patients and clients. Doctors work together to figure out tough cases, and frequently bounce ideas off of each other to do the best thing for our patients.

We proudly work with Paws of Hope as a reflection of our commitment to helping animals in need of loving care.

This position will treat dogs, cats and the occasional small mammal or pocket pet; however, if a mixed animal doctor is interested in joining us, their caseload would be broken down between about 80% small animal and 20% large animal cases. We are looking to hire a confident new graduate or an experienced doctor who enjoys collaborative medicine and teamwork, and ideally who is confident in soft tissue surgery, dentistry and medicine, while an interest in orthopedics is a plus. With no on call or emergency hours, our practice is able to provide a healthy work/life balance.

Baroda is a lovely community near the beaches of Lake Michigan, nestled in the heart of wine country. The area offers many outdoor activities, including hiking and lake activities, as well as local farm stands and farmers markets selling local produce and wares in the summer. Conveniently located within a short drive of Kalamazoo, the area provides small town charm near big city culture, amenities, restaurants and shopping without any of the hassles!

We take employee wellbeing seriously and offer superior salary, medical benefits (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, a family friendly atmosphere and more.

We can’t wait to show you how special we are and look forward to hearing from you. Get in touch by applying today!
