Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital (MASH) is seeking an internship-trained emergency
doctor for a full time emergency overnight position. This is a 10-hour shift which includes
overlap with swing emergency and critical care doctors. We are staffed with three board certified
criticalists (and are seeking a fourth) to support the entire ER team.

MASH offers specialty veterinary care in critical care, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology,
neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, dentistry and facial trauma, dermatology, and nutrition. We
have a great team of emergency and critical care veterinarians that work well together to
provide exceptional care for our patients. Also, the specialty services are on call to assist with or
answer questions about specific cases.

Equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound, echocardiogram, CT, MRI, endoscopy,
laparoscopy, mechanical ventilation, telemetry, fluoroscopy, and state-of-the-art monitoring
equipment. We have recently obtained both high flow nasal oxygen and a bedside real time
viscoelastic hemostasis assessment system. This position offers the opportunity to work with a
variety of patients and to learn from a large variety of specialists.

MASH is located in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles, California, with beautiful weather year
round, as well as amazing cultural, entertainment, and culinary options to fit any lifestyle.
We offer a competitive salary, full time benefits including health insurance with dental and
