About Kalamazoo, Michigan

Kalamazoo is a progressive and diverse city in the southwest corner of the state of Michigan. Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College both lend a vibrancy and cultural awareness to our community, and economically foundational businesses like Stryker, Pfizer and Zoetis keep the city financially stable. Kalamazoo offers outstanding educational scholarships for all children attending public school and the Kalamazoo Promise provides free, or highly subsidized, tuition to many Michigan colleges and universities. The area offers limitless outdoor and cultural activities, from lakes and trails to art festivals and theater. If food is your thing, then you are in luck! Kalamazoo boasts a variety of traditional American and globally-themed restaurants which provide the opportunity to wind down with the dish of your choice. With the  diversity and opportunity of a large city like Chicago, but smaller town atmosphere, Kalamazoo is truly a special city to call home!
