Flexible scheduling and a work-life balance are central to our practice philosophy, and we are looking to add a full (or part) time veterinarian to our established and growing clinic. Full-time veterinarians work four or three days/week. Part-time schedules also welcome.

Located in Jericho, Vermont, Mt. Mansfield Animal Hospital is a short commute to all the greater Burlington area has to offer yet is in the middle of the great outdoor recreation and skiing of the Mt. Mansfield area.

We are looking to add one or even two veterinarians to our busy team serving an excellent and appreciative community. Applicants of various backgrounds and experience are welcome, and the personal growth, autonomy, and vision of all the doctors at our practice is greatly valued. You can truly shape the scope and direction of your practice here at our privately-owned clinic. Your voice as a practitioner will be heard and respected.

Purchased in June of 2019, we are a rapidly growing and updating small animal practice offering a full range of medicine, surgery, and dentistry, and are supportive of the development of any specialty areas of interest. We have Avimark PMS (fully paperless, with old records conversion in progress), complete in-house Idexx lab, CR digital radiography, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound (coming Spring of 2021), and more. There are excellent specialty-referral and 24-hour emergency hospitals nearby.

Compensation will be dependent on experience and employment type (full or par-time), but will be extremely competitive in any event, and include:

  • Generous salary
  • Considerable paid time off (vacation, personal, sick)
  • CE allowance and paid days off for CE
  • Paid licensures (Vermont & DEA)
  • Paid VMA memberships (national, state, local)
  • Paid VIN membership
  • SIMPLE IRA with company matches up to 3%
  • Pet care discounts
  • Generous healthcare stipend (currently looking into adding group health insurance coverage)
  • Assistance with relocation expenses if needed
  • Signing bonus for well-qualified candidates
  • Profit-sharing bonuses, or more of a pro-sal compensation structure for those that might prefer this (your production will not be undervalued).
  • Flexible schedule

Jericho/Underhill, Vermont offers the best of both worlds (the beauty and recreation of the mountains, and all that Burlington offers), and are communities with wonderful people and excellent schools. You will be assisted by our much-loved and very talented staff, and this will be a partnership and journey together – not just a job.

Please check us out at https://mountmansfieldah.com, and we look forward to you applying here.

NOTES:

Additional Salary Information: Dependent on experience and employment level (full or part-time). Straight salary, Pro-Sal, or straight production are all compensation options. Benefits are in addition to this.
