Generous Sign-on Bonus

Are you a Pennsylvania Veterinarian who loves career flexibility and clinical diversity, and would also enjoy the stability of full-time employment with consistent salary and benefits?

This full-time, multi-site Veterinarian position is an ideal opportunity for an experienced doctor who seeks the flexibility, balance, and earning potential of relief work with the consistency and stability of working for one amazing company.

The right candidate will divide their work time to support several of Pennsylvania’s premiere veterinary locations - all offering cutting edge medical resources, the expertise of devoted medical staffs and the pleasure of working with warm and welcoming clientele all in an effort to provide the best quality care for the pets of Pennsylvania. Our Veterinary Hospitals offer a complete range of services including preventative wellness, urgent care, dentistry, surgery, laser therapy, and much more!

The pay is per diem plus excess production, so you are guaranteed to earn a minimum daily rate with no negative production accruals ever. Your time will be split between several Pennsylvania locations, which means you will experience a nice variety of diverse sites and patients while still being able to form lasting relationships with your teammates.

A big part of this position is flexibility in regards to schedule and location of practice. With several hospitals in the state of Pennsylvania we are well equipped to reward your excellence with a robust compensation package, including:

  • Competitive daily base rate (plus excess production); earn at least $100K per year
  • Write your own schedule
  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance + 401(k)
  • Travel allowance
  • CE allowance + Association membership costs
  • Paid relocation
  • Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays

What you need:

  • Active license in Pennsylvania
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Veterinarian
  • Small animal experience in General Practice, Internal Medicine and Surgery
  • Reside somewhere in the State College, Lewisburg, Williamsport, Harrisburg area of PA

ABOUT NATIONAL VETERINARY ASSOCIATES (NVATM)

NVA™ is the largest private owner of freestanding veterinary hospitals.

NVA owns more than 1000 veterinary hospitals and pet resorts in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. We have over 14,000 veterinary professionals that improve the well-being of patients by providing progressive and compassionate veterinary care. Our 4,000 veterinarians provide a full range of medical and surgical services.

NVA was founded in 1996 by Stanley Creighton, DVM with an emphasis on supporting local medical standards as established by individual hospitals and practitioners. He believed that veterinary medicine is best practiced when veterinarians craft their own hospital and community specific strategies for high quality patient care and client services.

The vision continues at NVA as we make available the tools and resources for hospitals to achieve their medical goals while avoiding any single standardized national plan that might not be the best fit for an individual hospital. The tools and resources include our national medical database, training and education for staff, and any emerging nationally published research and standards. Managing veterinarians decide what level of medicine they would like their hospital to achieve, and NVA will support them in getting there.
