Fort Caroline Animal Clinic has an opening for a Veterinarian in the beautiful Jacksonville, FL area (Relief Coverage would be considered). Excellent bedside manner, interpersonal skills, multi-tasking, organizational, and computer skills are a must.

Fort Caroline Animal Clinic has proudly served the Arlington, Southside, and surrounding areas of Jacksonville since 1983.  As we complete renovations on our hospital, bringing the total number of exam rooms to four, we are looking for an experienced Veterinarian to join the team.  We enjoy our relationships with clients and consider them part of the Fort Caroline family.  Our experienced and dedicated staff works well together, and we enjoy each other's company while at work. Veterinary medicine can be stressful, and we take our jobs seriously, but we try to have fun every day. Sense of humor and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Jacksonville, or Jax, as the locals call it, is the most populous city in Florida.  Perfectly located in Northeast Florida, Jacksonville has something for everyone; 22 miles of pristine beaches, extensive park systems, world-class fishing, historic neighborhoods, vibrant street arts scene, professional sports, eclectic museums, and some of the most creative coastal cuisine in the world. With an idyllic blend of metropolitan amenities, quiet peaceful neighborhoods, excellent schools, and abundant outdoor adventures the shores of Jacksonville truly offer something for everyone!

As part of our veterinarian focused culture, Fort Caroline provides our veterinarians with benefits such as:

  • Competitive Compensation packages including Base Salaries with % Production
  • Signing and Relocation Bonuses
  • A Robust Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, & Vision insurance & 401k with match
  • Employee Assistance Program with a focus on compassion fatigue & stress support
  • Vision for continuous advancement of patient care and services, including company paid dues and a focus on CE opportunities
