About Huron Veterinary Clinic
Huron Veterinary Clinic is a well respected, longstanding business establishment in Presque Isle County located in rural Northeast Michigan. It has been family owned and operated since 1984, recently purchased by Chelsea Van Assche DVM. Chelsea is a 2016 grad of Michigan State University, looking for a partner in her current one doctor practice. As the only vet clinic in Presque Isle County (and one of the only MIXED animal practices in Northeast Michigan), the practice is extremely busy and we see some very interesting and unusual cases. The practice also has a huge potential for growth and many upgrades have been made in the past year since the transition of ownership. HVC has a brand new digital x-ray machine (Cuattro), in-house digital lab machines (Idexx hematology, chemistry, and urinalysis "Sedi-Vue"), a fully stocked surgical suite with capabilities / equipment for orthopedic surgery, and a soon-to-come top of the line ultrasound machine. We are very proud of the work we are doing in this community with a great need for veterinary care; we are constantly striving to bring up-to-date, high quality care to our beloved clients who have been coming to HVC for decades.
