Toledo Blade Animal Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing 2 doctor practice in sunny North Port Florida. We have been providing quality, compassionate, veterinary care to our community for the past 12 years. 

We are a general small animal hospital servicing North Port and surrounding communities primarily focused on Canine and Feline Medicine and Surgery. We also work with many different rescues and shelter groups allowing us to reach more clients which is a great way for our  doctors to develop new client and patient relationships. We promote wellness and our doors remain open to emergencies throughout the day. There are no expected after hours, no Sunday or emergency shifts expected either. We have a local emergency facility within a ten minute drive as well as access to some of the best referral specialists in the state of Florida. We offer flexible scheduling in addition to ample vacation time for personal pursuits in an effort to promote a healthy work-life balance.

Our hospital is well equipped with Digital Radiology, Ultrasound, Laser Surgery, Electrocautery, IV Fluid pumps, Anesthetic Monitoring Equipment, Calibrated Isoflurane Anesthesia Machines, Therapeutic Class 4 Laser, Heated Surgical Tables, Dental equipment to name just a few.

In-clinic we have a surgical suite, a divided treatment area for triage and procedures, isolation ward, digital imaging room, as well as full on-site diagnostic laboratory with blood machines and a well stocked Pharmacy. Our hospital has four exam rooms that offer hydraulic lift tables for our canine patients and Cat-friendly rooms for patient comfort. In addition there is an on-site boarding facility.

We offer a fun but professional work environment with a team of support staff which includes experienced veterinary technicians, hard working assistants, and friendly receptionists.

Requirements:

DVM/VMD

Licensed in Florida

Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
