Veterinary Technician Up To $2,000 Sign on Bonus

Animal Care 24/7 is excited to announce an immediate opening for experienced Veterinary Technicians with a minimum of 2 years experience. We are a growing, fast-paced General Practice and 24/7 Emergency Hospital on Whitemarsh Island in Savannah, GA.  Most schedules are 3 to 4 shifts per week leaving you ample time to live life to the fullest.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of veterinary practices, procedures and terminology

Ability to appropriately handle, lift and restrain animals as well as stand or bend for extended periods of time

Ability to monitor anesthesia, take radiographs, venipuncture, fluids, administer CPR

Perform or assist with diagnostic tests such as urinalysis, fecal exams and blood tests

Conduct routine procedures like immunizations, ear cleaning, and nail trims

Monitoring the condition of patients and document appropriately in patient charts

Dispense prescription medications under the direction of a veterinarian

Genuinely enjoy working with animals and able to work with them even when they are stressed, painful or sick

Must be a self-starter, have the ability to multitask and be a team player
